Just a quick post to draw your attention to the Little Print Shop Of Horrors II project, which launched this week – a series of incredibly cool new posters for equally cool classic horror films. They cost £15 each (including free shipping) and all the money goes to Marie Curie Cancer Care. They’re only available in the UK, and at least one of them (Edward Scissorhands) is already sold out, so be quick if you like the look of them. And, to be honest, how can you not?
I love movie posters. If you follow me on Twitter you’ll no doubt have seen me screaming with rage as yet another amazing Mondo print sold out before I could get my hands on it (although for the sake of fairness, I did manage to get The Cabin In The Woods, Olly Moss’s amazing The Dark Knight Rises and their beautiful NYCC exclusive for The Iron Giant). In this case, I’ve bought the posters for It, An American Werewolf In London, Hellraiser and Friday the 13th, and am looking forward to having them as a red, white and black quartet when the time comes that I have enough spare wall space. Maybe in a year or two :)
Thanks to my friend Ruth Tross for the heads-up on Twitter. And for the sake of clarification, in this cynical modern world, I have absolutely nothing to do with this project. I just think it’s really, really cool.
